In The Meantime is an album made up of songs and music I've started, had laying around or have been working on over the past 2 years. Technically, it's full of flaws, I mixed it myself and didn't get an engineer to do it, but it's something I'm proud to have achieved in making, even though the little voice on my shoulder keeps telling me it's not very good. It's me making music and releasing it just as I envision and hear it while I create it. Some things on this are meant to be perfect while some things are not meant to be, while other things are meant to be but are not. It's raw. It's real. It's me.

The title inspiration for this album comes from the song In The Meantime by Spacehog. I can't remember things I did today, or yesterday, or last week, but I vividly remember the very first time I heard this song on the radio late night, almost 20 years ago to the day. Not only would this song stand the test of time as my 2nd favourite song of all time, but its outro guitar riff would forever be an iconic influence in my guitar playing technique.

For me, this album In The Meantime is about getting out there, or back out there and doing that something you love even if you believe the world is against you, and even if it's not, because great things can come at anytime, in any place, in all shapes and sizes, and if you don't have them already in your life then they could be just around the corner. And if they aren't then it's not the end of the world, unless it is. So just wait and see what happens, man.
